About Lori’s Home Cooking

Lori grew up between Chicago and Cincinnati, and on moving to Australia 40 years ago, she was hard pressed to find a decent chocolate brownie. She started making her own that were reminiscent of her childhood. Eventually she took baking requests from friends and family more seriously and began baking as a business. She has now been making the same chocolate brownie recipe from her home kitchen for over 27 years!

Lori’s slices are made with wholesome ingredients; wholemeal flour, real butter, fresh fruit and nuts, free range eggs, dark chocolate and lots of love (and some brown sugar too). They are frozen when fresh, so once defrosted are as good as straight from the oven.

The cakes are all ~ 17 x 28 cm and can be cut into 8, 12, 15 or 20 pieces, we leave that to you! Have them in the freezer for any occasion – dinner parties, afternoon tea, brunches, catering, or just to have on hand (our suggestion is warmed up with cream or ice cream!).
